Description: Antique Rose Gold Scarab Ring. Lovely detail with rose cut diamond on the scarabs upper body, Onyx body, Amethyst eyes, all lie on a background of duck egg blue enamel. Very Unusual item I have never seen another one like it. Closed setting and the head of the ring is quite deep.

Age: This is difficult to date. I think it certainly dates back to at least the 1920's which was the time of Tutankhamuns tomb discovery but the western interest in egyptian jewellery goes back much further than that and so it might be older than 1920's.
Weight: 6.7 grams
Condition: Good Condition. There are a few small losses to the gold work on one side of the scarabs body. A prong that goes up and over the beatles back is missing on the one side as is one of the front feet of the scarab. The enamel is generally in good condition but has a couple of tiny losses where it meets the edge of the ring. All can be seen on photos's
