Description: Antique Turkish Ottoman Silver Bangle. This is extensively marked. My understanding of the marks are as follows :-
The bracelet has the maker’s name repeated four times, a tugra, which is incomplete although perhaps thought to be Mehmet V (1909-1918), and two further central marks. First of these is a poor / worn stamp which is difficult to make out - the smaller of the two central marks is a square cartouche with a letter Y in top right corner.
The silver maker is not mentioned in "Ottoman Silver Marks, Garo Kurkman" and the tugras are a bit hard to make out so I am guessing at Mehmet V.
Bangle tests positive to Silver but is of lower grade than sterling - Most likely 900 silver.
