Description: 1930's Hallmarked Platinum Diamond Fur Double Clip Brooch. This is really unusual because the clips are offset but when mounted on the frame work together to give a continuous swirled bow design. Very cleverly done. Approx 6 carats of good white diamonds. Varied cuts including Baguette, 8 cut, & old cut diamonds.
Marks: This was not marked at time of purchase. My feeling is that it is probably French in origin. To confirm the metal I sent this for hallmarking so it now bears a Birmingham hallmark for 900 platinum. The assay office have stamped the pin.
