Heavy Ottoman Ethnic Silver Turkish Bangle

Description: Antique Turkish Ottoman Silver Bangle.  This is extensively marked. My understanding of the marks are as follows :-

The bracelet has the maker’s name repeated four times, a tugra, which is incomplete although perhaps thought to be Mehmet V (1909-1918), and two further central marks. First of these is a poor / worn stamp which is difficult to make out - the smaller of the two central marks is a square cartouche with a letter Y in top right corner.

The silver maker is not mentioned in "Ottoman Silver Marks, Garo Kurkman" and the tugras are a bit hard to make out so I am guessing at Mehmet V.

Bangle tests positive to Silver but is of lower grade than sterling - Most likely 900 silver.

Marks: As described above

Size: This is unisize. Width measures 3 3/4 inches at its widest and 2 1/4 inches at its narrowest

Age: Tugra is thought to be 1909 - 1918

Large Omani Silver Necklace Samt Mukahhal

Description: Vintage Omani Silver Necklace. The eight coins attached to it are Maria Theresa Talers - the coin itself has an interesting history - she was an Austrian queen dies in 1780
but they continued to strike the coin for a couple of centuries after her death not only in Austria but  other countries both europe and middle east - the coin becomes pretty much a universal currency coin
across the arab world because it was particularily hard to copy and hence the silver content could be pretty much guaranteed - Coins are 830 parts silver. These necklaces are known as Samt Mukahhal
